Working with variants and availability

A product is purchasable when at least one of its variants reports availableForSale. That flag combines inventory tracking, quantity and the variant's inventory policy.

In this demo catalogue most variants are untracked, so they always read as available. A handful are deliberately tracked at zero so you can see the sold-out states in the product card and the variant picker.
